Adrian McCarthy is the Manager of the For Purpose programme and is responsible for the programme’s development and growth. Adrian took on responsibility for the programme in late 2016 and has placed 11 graduate trainees into not-for-profit organisations since commencing in his role. Identifying the need for a more structured and large-scale programme with the ability to attract real attention and inspired by the overwhelming desire from graduates for a career path into the not-for-profit sector, Adrian instigated the For Purpose concept in early 2018 and has been leading on the launch of the programme this year. Adrian holds a BA in Drama & English from University College Cork and he is currently studying for an MA in Human Resource Management from the National College of Ireland.

Adrian is dedicated to providing graduate opportunities for those seeking purpose in their careers and to enhancing and sustaining the not-for-profit sector by bringing in graduate talent.
