Adrian McCarthy is the manager of For Purpose – Ireland’s Not-for-Profit Graduate Programme. Adrian manages all aspects of the programme and is responsible for the growth and development of For Purpose, in addition to ensuring the successful outcome of graduate traineeships on the programme. Since Adrian has  taken up responsibility for the programme at the end of 2016, For Purpose has undergone significant milestones including a full rebrand and a broadening of the range of traineeships on offer from fundraising & communications to property surveying, housing management, programmes and further areas. Adrian is dedicated to building a pipeline of future leaders for the sector and for providing opportunities to graduates searching ‘for purpose’ in their careers.

Adrian holds a BA in Drama & English from University College Cork and he is currently studying part-time for an MA in Human Resource Management from the National College of Ireland.
