Role title: Recruitment Trainee

Location: Pembroke Hall, 38/39 Fitzwilliam Square, Dublin 2. Due to the current situation with Covid-19, remote working will also form a significant aspect of this role.

Duration: 12-month graduate traineeship with the prospect of progressing further on successful completion of the traineeship.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Remuneration: €23,000

To ensure future leaders have a clear pathway to join the sector, 2into3 developed For Purpose, Ireland’s not-for-profit graduate programme. For Purpose connects not-for-profit organisations with talented graduates who are searching ‘for purpose’ in their careers and want to make an impact on civil society. Graduate trainees on the For Purpose programme receive one-to-one mentoring and support throughout their traineeship as well as attending learning seminars throughout the year. The For Purpose programme is managed by 2into3.

2into3 and For Purpose are seeking to add an ambitious and driven Recruitment Trainee to their team. This role offers a unique opportunity for a graduate to develop a career in recruitment by working with mission-driven organisations across the not-for-profit sector.


Recruitment Trainee

The Recruitment Trainee will have a multifaceted role within 2into3 and For Purpose by playing a key part in maintaining our position as the leading recruiters of experienced roles and graduate talent in the not-for-profit sector. The Trainee will help to maintain strong relationships with our existing clients and support us in building new connections with other inspiring organisations. The Trainee will also provide a range of administrative supports to the recruitment team to ensure we continue to maintain the high quality and unique value of our professional service.

The Trainee will assist with sourcing candidates, screening job applications, responding to candidate queries, drafting job specifications, managing advert placements and assisting with interview preparation. The Trainee will also attend several key not-for-profit events, as well as third-level careers fairs to help promote our services to prospective clients and establish our reputation as the leading recruitment service for people who want to have a career in the not-for-profit sector.

  • Third level qualification
  • High degree of motivation, initiative, flexibility and creativity
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and meet challenging deadlines
  • Ability to take ownership of work
  • Excellent written skills and ability to produce copy in a timely manner
  • Highly organised and strong attention to detail
  • Strong commitment to teamwork
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Full working rights in Ireland
  • Demonstrable interest in the not-for-profit sector and/or the area of recruitment
