What does a social care worker do?

A social care worker provides care and support to individuals who require assistance with day-to-day living and carrying out activities which allow them to lead a normal life. Social care workers work with a wide variety of groups from the elderly to children, people living with disabilities and people affected by homelessness and addiction. A social care worker provides practical support to their clients, enable them to live a high quality of life and advocate on their clients behalf.
